faq.

I’m based in Donegal, in the Northwest of Ireland, but I regularly travel all over Ireland and the UK.

Most definitely! I love travelling and would be delighted to shoot your wedding, no matter where. I’ve shot weddings all over the world, from the USA and Canada to France, Italy, Portugal and Cyprus.

I’m fully insured, including Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. This is for your peace of mind and my own!

I’ve photographed over 100 weddings, the very first one being in 2009. I started shooting them regularly in 2015, and went full time in 2019!

Of course! I hear this a lot from my couples and believe me, I get it!  I get super nervous in front of the camera too and felt the same before my own wedding day, but the experience of being in front of the camera helped me to understand what it’s like.

This is why it’s really important for me to get to know you before the wedding or session, either to meet up in person or or more commonly via video chat. Then I’m not just a stranger photographing you on the day, I’m closer to a guest with a camera! It’s my job to put you at ease and help you relax in front of the camera, and even forget it’s there. Here’s what one bride had to say:

“As you know, I don’t love the camera so I was a bit nervous about the photography side of things but you put me completely at ease and it was actually a lovely experience. Thank you so much for everything!”

We do! We currently offer highlights films as an add-on to our photography services, or we can recommend some wonderful full-service videographers that we’ve worked with before.

Of course not! I offer all kinds of lifestyle sessions, from couples to family to portraits. Get in touch and tell me all about your plans!

Head on over to my contact form and tell me everything! I’ll get back to you soon with info and we can set up a time to chat. To secure the date I ask for a signed contract and booking fee, once I’ve received these then you’re all booked in and I’m yours!

This depends on how long I’m there on your wedding day, but as a guide you’ll receive somewhere between 400-800 images.

You’ll receive your photos approximately 8-12 weeks after the wedding, depending on what time of year it is.

While I plan a group shot list with you beforehand to make sure we get all the important family combinations, for the rest of the day I work in a documentary style and as such don’t work from a list. Rest assured I’ll capture everything important, and I would hate to miss a beautiful spontaneous moment because I had my head in a list!

LOVE IS LOVE. We work with anyone madly in love, without restriction or judgement.

No, of course not! That being said, engagement shoots are a fantastic opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, and see how I work. Then come the wedding day you’ll know what to expect. They’re also a great way for us to hang out and get to know each other better. And you get some awesome photos that you can use for save-the-dates and whatnot. What’s not to love?

It really depends on the day – if you’re having an elopement or intimate wedding then it’s not really necessary. If you’re having a bigger wedding it really is great to have a second pair of eyes to capture things from a different perspective, to cover both of you getting ready in the morning, and to capture lots of guest candids, especially while I’m off taking your family photos and couple’s portraits.

Absolutely! Some of my collections have a wedding album included, or you can choose to add one on after the wedding if you prefer.
